Whisper is a software application designed to keep your private communications private. Whisper is designed to be easy to use (no PKI).
Also Whispers can be written on paper if you have to. You don’t need your correspondent to generate a key before you can Whisper.
If you are sending two messages to the same person, choose File / New Message between them (or restart Whisper). Otherwise neither message will be secure.
The security of your messages depends on your choice of password. Dictionary words will only protect against casual attackers. Protecting against military attackers would need about twelve random characters.
Security is only as strong as your system’s weakest link. If secrecy is important to you, think about the way you work as a whole, not just how you use Whisper.
